Temporal Lift in Iran | Brow Lift & Eye Rejuvenation

A temporal lift targets the outer temple and lateral brow area (often the outer one-third of the eyebrows) to elevate drooping brows, reduce crow’s feet and refresh the gaze. Unlike a full brow-lift, the temporal lift involves smaller incisions, shorter recovery, and focuses on the outer zones rather than the entire forehead. Results appear more subtle, with less visible scarring since incisions may lie behind the hairline.

Ideal candidates are healthy adults (over age ~23) with outer brow drooping or temples sagging due to aging or heredity. Those with minimal central forehead wrinkles but significant lateral brow descent benefit the most. Good skin elasticity and realistic goals increase satisfaction. Patients with heavy brow furrows across the full forehead or significant mid-face sag may need more extensive lift than simply a temporal lift.

Recovery is usually faster than full brow lifts. Many patients return to light activities within 1–2 weeks. Swelling and bruising are common in the first few days. Incisions often are hidden behind hairline and dissolve or are removed in ~5-10 days. Heavy exercise, bending forward, or lifting should be avoided for ~4-6 weeks. Final result usually seen at 3-4 months when soft tissues settle.

Though generally safe, risks include bleeding, infection, hairline changes (if incision approaches scalp), asymmetry of brows, nerve irritation (leading to numbness or tingling at the temple), and visible scarring if hair regrowth is limited. Also, because natural aging continues, maintaining results may require adjunct treatments; patients should have realistic expectations about longevity of lift.

Surgical temporal lifts (classic or endoscopic) can provide long-lasting or near-permanent elevation of the lateral brow. However, results may gradually soften over 5-10 years depending on skin quality, genetics, lifestyle (sun exposure, smoking), and subsequent facial aging. Thread lifts, Botox-based lifts, or plasma lifts in the temporal area offer shorter durability (6 months-3 years).
